In December 2011 we were awarded the Project and Construction Management of the retail construction for the Heathrow Terminal 2 Programme.
We delivered seventy-three retail outlets from shell and core to commissioning and handover with a team of twenty-two staff at the peak ranging from Retail Project Managers, Construction Managers, Interface Managers to HSE Managers and Commissioning Managers.
Over forty fit-out suppliers with over twelve hundred operatives were required to deliver these retail units by the project completion in March 2014.
Our scope included Health and Safety Management along with the management of all handovers and the final commissioning.
A degree of change was required as concessionaires needed amendments in the retail shell and core to maximise use of the footprint.
The value of the works managed was £75 million.
